Before you call, please read!

We are glad that you have chosen to trust us and to start with a consultation and treatment at our clinic.

Over time we have developed a few rules that help our work run smoothly, and we feel obliged to share them with you.

1. Calling to book an appointment.

Appointments for a first visit to the clinic are booked according to the free slots available and your personal availability. We usually aim to offer you the earliest free slot, or, if it is free, the slot you ask for. We will need a short description, literally a few words, of the problem you are calling about, so that the dental assistants can allow the time needed for your first visit. In addition, as a clinic that provides comprehensive treatment, in order to draw up a treatment plan and begin treatment we will also need a digital X-ray, which you can have taken at Dental-xlab or TM Laboratory.

2. Calls asking for additional information.

Calls with questions such as “Do you perform a certain procedure?”, “How much does such-and-such cost?” or “Can I have an indicative price for … ?” are strongly discouraged. All the procedures we perform are described in detail on the website, and that is the maximum information we can give about a given problem, the time and the way it is treated without having examined the particular patient. To the question most often asked by phone, “How much does this or that cost?”, even if we wanted to answer, we CANNOT, because every patient and their problem is individual and we cannot guess the treatment needed, so we ask you not to waste your time and ours on pointless calls. For patients who are interested only in the indicative prices of the procedures at the clinic, a price list is available.

3. First visit, schedule, treatment plan.

We recommend that patients do not diagnose themselves from the internet and do not book an appointment for a procedure they are not sure they need. It is better for the first appointment to be for an examination, a look at a panoramic X-ray and a discussion of your particular case. This way we can offer the most suitable options for solving your specific problems, and if there is enough time, we can start treatment right away.

The opening hours of the clinic are:\

Monday – Friday: 09:00 – 20:00
Saturday: 10:00 – 17:00
Sunday: by appointment

We work ONLY by prior appointment for a given day and time, regardless of the procedure. The aim is to keep to the schedule properly and to make things easier and more convenient for both you and us: you do not lose time waiting, and we can plan our work and set aside the necessary time for each patient. If you are more than 20 minutes late without calling in advance, you lose your appointment, because it means everyone after you has to wait, and it is not fair for patients who arrived on time to wait because of someone who was late.

We prepare a treatment plan for patients who begin longer-term and comprehensive restorations. The treatment plan is a description of the procedures we propose to carry out, how they will be spread over time, and the approximate price. Treatment begins after you have approved the proposed plan. Sometimes, in severe cases with many questionable teeth, the plan is drawn up during or after the first (preparatory) phase of treatment, so that we can assess the condition of the existing teeth.

4. Cancelling and missing appointments.

Because of our busy schedule, cancelling or missing booked appointments is undesirable, as it disrupts the work of the clinic and the dental laboratory. Nevertheless it sometimes cannot be avoided, so if for any reason you have to miss a scheduled visit, we would be grateful if you let us know at least 48 hours in advance. That way we can offer the freed slot to another patient and will not waste the time of the dentists and assistants. When the cancellation is at the last moment (less than 48 hours before the booked appointment), we will ask you to pay a cancellation fee for the missed appointment.

When you do not show up on the agreed day and time and do not call to let us know, that slot stays empty for us and you hold up our work. Our patients with serious conditions have to wait for days for a procedure, or we have to work outside working hours. For this reason, if you book an appointment and do not turn up, we will not book you a new appointment at our clinic or at the partner clinics we work with.

5. Follow-up care

Follow-up care is one of the core values in the philosophy of Ralev Dental Clinic. When treatments are completed, we insist on monitoring the results achieved over time. Only in this way can we be sure that we will manage to preserve them for a long time. We ask you to be strict about it and to visit us at least once a year for a preventive check-up and professional cleaning.
