Photopolymer tooth fillings
Fillings (restorations) of photopolymer composite material are the most commonly used fillings nowadays. They are suitable for all teeth in the tooth row. Their main advantages are that they are aesthetic and can exactly re-create the natural topography of teeth. When a suitable colour has been selected by the dentist, the photopolymer filling is indistinguishable from natural teeth. A disadvantage of composite fillings is that they are sensitive to moisture (making them requires dry surfaces of the tooth, which complicates the work of the dentist and increases the time for the procedure). The photopolymer filling is the best choice of treatment of caries in terms of price and quality.
